Ganesh Singh, who rode his motorcycle in a drunken state after he attended a birthday party on April 25, 2018, was fined $7,500 by Wales Magistrate Rochelle Liverpool upon his admission of guilt.
Singh, during an appearance at the Wales Magistrate’s Court last week, accepted that he operated motorcycle CJ 4865 while being over the legal limit of alcohol consumption.
The prosecution disclosed that the offender had a reading of 168 microgrammes, well over the 35 microgrammes limit. Singh told Magistrate Liverpool that he was never charged before.
After brief consideration, she fined the accused, and warned him that he would spend one week in jail if he does not pay the $7,500 fine. His licence was also endorsed, as he was a first time offender.
