Body of Golden Grove man found floating

The body of a 53-year-old Golden Grove, East Coast Demerara (ECD) man was on Tuesday afternoon discovered floating in a trench at Nabaclis, ECD.
Dead is Terrence James of Lot 16 Sancho Street, Golden Grove, ECD. His body was found about 14:00h.
According to reports, the man, who was said to be in the habit of imbibing alcohol, was last seen on Monday night at a bar at Nabaclis Public Road.
However, about 14:00h, a welder, who was exiting his yard, saw James’s body floating face down in a trench.
The Police were summoned, and the body was examined. No marks of violence were found.
The Police are investigating.
