The body of an unidentified man was, in the wee hours of Friday, found at Lot 16 America Street, Georgetown.

The body is of a male of East Indian descent, who is suspected to be between 35 and 40 years of age. Measuring about 5 feet 8 inches tall, the body is of a person of medium built, brown in complexion, with short hair. It was clad in a black t-shirt and a pair of blue short pants.
The scene where the body was discovered has been visited by a party of Police ranks from the Brickdam Police Station, and has been processed by the Crime Scene Department at CID HQ.
Upon discovery of the body, several persons were questioned, but no useful information has as yet been received. Moreover, the Police are yet to review CCTV footage. The body was examined, but no marks of violence were evident.
The body has been taken to the Memorial Gardens Mortuary to await identification and a post mortem examination.
