Braithwaite, Agard gets AIBA accreditation

Local boxing referee/judge Richard Braithwaite and Ramona Agard on Sunday received official documentation which certified them as International Boxing Association (AIBA) One Star.

At a simple ceremony the two were presented with AIBA certificates, badges and referee books by AIBA Executive Committee member and President of the Guyana Boxing Association Steve Ninvalle.
The pair was successful at exams held last year December in Barbados to become the only locals to be recognised One Star by AIBA.
