Brave sky flies high at KMTC

Thrilling horse racing action in the ancient county of Berbice unfolded on Sunday at the Kennard’s Memorial Turf Club (KMTC) at Bush Lot Farm, Corentyne in the Raj Ramchartar Construction Enterprise Horse Race and Duck Curry competition.
With several races carded for the day of fun under the sun, Brave Sky, out of the Nand Persaud racing stables raced to victory in the featured E1 and Lower 2000m sprint race. In doing so, Brave Sky stole the thunder from her stable mate, Golden Blue Echo who had to settle for second to see the stable take home 0,000 first prize along with trophies.
In the H1 and Lower race, it was Super Gold and Isn’t she charming locked in a dead heat as the first and second place prize was combined and evenly divided between the two horses while Cat Massiah copped the third position.
In the I and Lower event, it was all fun and thrills as Party Time rode off with the 0,000 first prize ahead of Ms Olympia, Mary Ann and Amazon Warrior in second to fourth places in that order.
Also in the K and Lower race, Plane Land Safely secured the victory for a cash prize of 0,000 while confusion settled for second, She’s in Control (third) and Blondie (fourth).
King Stanley took the 0,000 first prize in the three year old maiden race while Miss Anjalie took home second place for a prize of ,000.
Meanwhile, in the L Non Earners, Royal Prince took to the top of the group with a dominant performance that earned him ,000 while Street Silent got second, Royal Progressive third and Red Weasel, fourth.
In the L non winners, it was Blondie romping to a 0,000 prize as Party Done secured second and Blue Lightning securing third place.
