BREAKING: Mae’s School suspend classes after threats

Parents of students attending Mae’s School in Georgetown are now scampering to pick up their children after the school’s administration abruptly called them informing that classes are suspended in light of threats received over the weekend.

Below is the statement the school issued a short while ago:

“In light of the recent threat on social media over the weekend, Mae’s Schools has no other alternative but to issue an immediate cancellation of classes from Playgroup to the Secondary department.

Parents are asked to uplift their children from school immediately.

Please note that no devices have been cited but the safety and security of our children and staffs are of the utmost importance.
The extent of this shutdown is uncertain at this time.   As soon as the logistics are in place for the resumption of classes, you will be informed accordingly via print and electronic media .”
