Chief Elections Officer (CEO) of the Guyana Elections Commission, Keith Lowenfield, told a news conference this morning that the Secretariat is yet to receive instructions from the Commission to commence its elections preparation. In addition, GECOM is claiming that it needs another 148 days before it is fully ready to host the constitutionally mandated General and Regional Elections.
