Briton John storms to victory in Linden LonLam cycling

Briton John completed a crushing win in the 20-lap race at the Ameila’s Ward inner circuit on Monday last to finish ahead of 23 cyclists in the senior category.

John finished ahead of Curtis “Chappy” Dey; Andre “Padlock” Green; Paul DeNobrega; Marcus Keiler and Marlon “Fishy” Williams in that order. Dey took two of the five sprint prizes while DeNobrega, John and Green accounted for the other three.
In the 12-14 schoolboys’ two-lap race, Stephen Lalta of St Michael’s Private School copped first place ahead of Orin Allen and Mark Lewis. Seasoned women cyclist Clivecia Spencer, along with Savannah Hyles, captured the senior and junior categories, respectively.
Suzanne Hamilton finished second in the senior category while Maliah DeSantos took the second position in the junior event.
Sagon Hubbard of Team Evolution took an early lead and maintained his dominance in also capturing the three sprint prizes ahead of Ralph Williams and Nigel London, who finished in that order in the veterans’ race.
