Brothers wanted for multiple armed robberies

The Guyana Police Force has issued wanted bulletins for two brothers, Kevin and Kellon Fredricks, of Onderneeming, Sandpit, Essequibo Coast, Region Two (Pomeroon-Supenaam) for questioning in relation to a series of armed robberies.
Police Headquarters reported that the brothers, 21-year-old twins, are wanted for questioning in relation to robberies committed in Georgetown between December 4, 2023 and January 24, 2024; at Sand Hill Backdam, Cuyuni River, and Windsor Cattle, Essequibo Coast.
Anyone with information that may lead to the arrest of Kevin and Kellon Fredricks is asked to contact the Police on telephone numbers 226-7065, 227-1270, 226-7476, 226-7065, 227-9271, 227-1611, 227-1149, 227-1270, 225-6940-9, 225-3650, 226-1928, or 911 or at the nearest Police Station.
Kellon Fredricks is no stranger to the law. He was sentenced to 12 months behind bars in December 2023 after being found guilty of unlawful wounding by Magistrate Esther Sam at the Suddie Magistrate’s Court.
It was reported that he unlawfully wounded Stanley Paton, a 63-year-old security guard of Onderneeming Sand Pit, on January 30, 2023.

 

The crime was committed at Onderneeming Sand Pit, Essequibo Coast. Paton was reportedly ambushed and shot by gunmen while he slept in a hammock at the camp where he was assigned to keep an eye on the Hot and Cold Loam pit.
The Magistrate sentenced Fredricks in absentia.
In March of 2023, Fredricks was also charged with attempting to murder an Essequibo businessman.
Kellon Fredricks was also charged with attempt to commit murder on 27-year-old Randolph Williams of Lot 428 Phase Two, Onderneeming Sand Pit, on Sunday, February 4. The incident occurred at Onderneeming Sand Pit.
He was granted $500,000 bail on that charge. (G9)
