The Handicapped Open is an equalizer-type tournament which places each player on an even standing and will see the top level players being pitted against lower-ranked players on a plus/minus score system, designed to give lower ranked players an opportunity to equalize against stronger players. Winners, runners-up and semifinalists will be awarded with trophies of gold, silver and bronze with only the top three receiving incentives. Players interested in participating in the championships are asked to contact National Coach and GTTA General Secretary, Linden Johnson on 621-7630 or email him at [email protected]. The Association’s Hon Treasurer Deirdre Edghill can also be contacted for registration on 650-4520 or by email at [email protected].
