Bus conductor charged for narco trafficking

A minibus conductor found himself on the wrong side of the law on Friday when he appeared in the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts charged for possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking.
Warren Broomes of Guyhoc Park, Georgetown, denied the charged when it was read to him by Magistrate Leron Daly. It is alleged that on September 5, 2018, in Georgetown, he had in his possession 50 grams of cannabis for the purpose of trafficking.
Police Prosecutor Sanj Singh made no objections to bail. Broomes was released on $50,000 bail.
The 31-year-old man will make his next court appearance on October 19.
