Buxton aiming to surge ahead after clash against Monedderlust

Bottom of the table Monedderlust FC will take on Buxton FC tonight as action continues in the Stag Elite League (Season 2).
Keen contest expected tonight between bottom of the table Monedderlust and fourth place Buxton United
This matchup (Match 18) was originally scheduled for April 2 but did not kick off due to logistical challenges experienced by one of the teams. The game starts at 18:30hrs tonight and will be played at the Tucville Ground.
Both teams are hunting a win to increase their standings in the league with Buxton United in fourth position with nine points while Monedderlust is at the bottom of the table with three points from one win.
Monedderlust has been aggressive in the opening minutes of games but tend to fade in the latter stages of their games and in the process gives up crucial goals to their opposition, this has sorely contributed to them being stuck at the bottom of the table.
Meanwhile, Buxton could move into third place with a win tonight which will put them in strong contention to cop a play-off spot as the league tapers down to its end.
