Buxton All Stars Football Club’s Under-13 team are making a positive impact both on and off the field as they continue their campaign in the Guyana Football Federation (GFF)/East Demerara Football Association (EDFA) Under-13 Youth Ensemble League.
After three matches, the young Buxton outfit has recorded one victory and two draws, remaining unbeaten in the competition. Their performances have highlighted the team’s discipline, determination, and growing confidence as they compete against some of the country’s promising young footballers.
While striving for success on the pitch, the team have also demonstrated the true meaning of sportsmanship and community service. The players recently made a heartfelt donation to Coach Herbert McPherson, popularly known as “Coach Dan”, who is currently recovering from illness. The donation was received by his brother on his behalf.

In a message of encouragement, the club extended its best wishes to the respected coach, saying, “We at Buxton All Stars wish you a speedy recovery. Our prayers are with you. God is still on the throne, and He hears our prayers.
The gesture reflects the values being instilled within the Buxton All Stars programme, where character, compassion, and unity are considered just as important as football development.
The club’s thoughtful act has been warmly received by members of the football community, who have praised the young players for their kindness and maturity.
With their unbeaten start and growing confidence, Buxton All Stars U13 will be aiming to build on their solid record as the GFF/EDFA Under-13 Youth Ensemble League continues.
