Not long before this incident occurred, Police had nabbed a man with a .40 Glock firearm and three matching rounds of ammunition at Buxton, ECD.
A search was conducted at his residence at Company Path Road, Buxton, ECD, after a report was made that he had discharged a loaded firearm at a 28-year-old woman.
During the search of the premises, the suspect was caught in his bedroom with the firearm in his hands in an attempt to hide it. Police ranks subsequently managed to retrieve the firearm, which turned out to be a .40 Glock pistol along with three matching rounds of ammunition.
