Buxton resident slapped with possession of ammo charge

Ceon Thomas of Company Road, Buxton, East Coast Demerara was on Monday remanded to prison by Vigilance Magistrate Fabayo Azore, before whom he was arraigned on a charge of possession of ammunition without being the holder of a firearm and ammunition licence.

The Police have said that the 31-year-old accused was arrested last Saturday and charged for the offence.
He has pleaded not guilty to the charge, but bail was refused, and he will make his next court appearance on February 3, 2022.
