The Berbice Volleyball Association (BVA) wrapped up its assessment ahead of May’s Bolivia invitational; with a victory over the Demerara team this past weekend at the National Gymnasium.
Demerara, despite woes from their male team, found representation in the ladies who beat their Berbice counterparts to spare further blushes.
The return match was used as trials ahead of the assignment in Bolivia which spikes off May 26 with Guyana taking a senior male and female team for the competition.
Following the trials which commenced last week, national coach Levi Nedd will now be tasked with selecting the players who will form the national teams to represent the country’s honor.
May’s tournament will further help to prep players for October’s Inter Guiana Games (IGG), where Guyana will look to defend their volleyball title against other countries.
