Boyce & Jefford Relay Festival & Family Fun Day 2017…
C Mohan Contracting Guyana Inc. on Tuesday entered a long-term agreement with sponsorship of the Women’s 4×100 metre race at the upcoming Boyce and Jefford Relay Festival and Family Fun Day, scheduled for April 30 at the Police Sports Club Ground, Eve Leary.

C Mohan Contracting Guyana Inc. indicated during the simple presentation that they will adopt the Women’s 4x100m race for continued sponsorship annually, beginning this year. The group is of the view that the event is a refreshing activity for sports in Guyana, and as such, it will partner with the hosts to offer continued annual support.
Chairman of the Management Committee for the Boyce and Jefford Relay Festival, Colin Boyce, thanked the entity for their contribution, indicating that it augurs well for the longevity of the event when a company decides to offer long-term sponsorship.
The relays this year include the 4×100 (Male and Female); 4×400 (Male and Female); 4x200m Mixed Relay; 4x400m Mixed Relay; Sprint Medley Females (100m,100m, 200m, 400m); Sprint Medley Males (100m, 200m, 400m, 800m); Distance Medley Females (2400m) (400m, 600m, 600m, 800m) and the Distance Medley Males (2800m) (400m, 600m, 600m, 1200m).
Cash Prizes of $25,000; $15,000 and $10,000 will be awarded to teams finishing first to third in each event for total prize money of $500,000 to be handed out in 10 races. In addition, the event this year will include football, softball cricket, cycling and dominoes competitions.
