Thirty-four-year-old Rocky Ramoo, of Williamsburg, Corentyne, Region Six (East Berbice-Corentyne) was on Tuesday arraigned for inflicting grievous bodily harm on Veetasammy Rammangal when he appeared at the Albion Magistrate’s Court.
He pleaded not guilty to the charge when it was read by Magistrate Rabindranauth Singh. The charge stated that on May 12, 2020, at Williamsburg, Ramoo inflicted grievous bodily harm on Rammangal.
However, he was placed on self-bail, and the matter was adjourned to November 9, 2020, for statements.
