CANU finds gun, ammo during Princes St operation

Ranks of the Customs Anti-Narcotics Unit (CANU) on Tuesday found one Taurus pistol and 10 live rounds of matching ammunition during an operation conducted at Princes Street, Wortmanville, Georgetown.

According to information received, on the day in question, CANU officers were conducting an operation at Princes Street, Georgetown when they found the firearm and ammunition at a caravan in the said area. At the time of the operation, no one was at the scene. Investigations are continuing.
