CANU intercept car with guns, ammo

Ranks of the Customs Anti-Narcotics Unit (CANU) on Tuesday intercepted on Mandela Avenue, Georgetown a car in which they unearthed two firearms – a Taurus 9mm pistol with a magazine, and a .38 revolver – along with matching ammunition.

Following this discovery, the two persons who were in the car were arrested and handed over to the Guyana Police Force.
