Caribbean Airlines honours loyal customers, corporate partners

Caribbean Airlines on Thursday honoured several of its corporate partners and longstanding top tier frequent flyers at a customer appreciation reception held at the Marriott Hotel, Georgetown.
In a release, the Airlines stated that the Guyana Bank for Trade and Industry, GTT and Demerara Distillers Limited (DDL) were honoured for their contribution to trade and investment in Guyana, as well as their existing and continued support of Caribbean Airlines as their preferred air carrier for travel and air freight.
Caribbean Airlines also recognised Abdool Hamid, as the top flyer in the highest tier Executive Gold category in Guyana. Hamid flew over one million miles since the start-up of the airline in 2007 and was awarded with Lifetime Club Membership, in the airline’s Club Caribbean. Thirteen Gold Members were also

rewarded for travelling over 40,000 miles each for 2017/2018.
Chief Executive Officer, Garvin Medera in his feature address stated, “In the world of business, and especially in the world of airlines, loyalty is greatly valued. It takes hard work to achieve it, and even harder work to keep it. At Caribbean Airlines we do not take loyalty for granted and nothing lifts our hearts more than the support of our customers. This evening, we honour and reward some of those truly loyal travellers for whom Caribbean Airlines is always the preferred option. Achieving Gold and Executive Gold membership status is not an easy task, and tonight’s awardees have attained elite status within our customer base.”
As a further gesture, Caribbean Airlines distributed 300 complimentary Club Caribbean cards to selected stakeholders in the business community.
“Guyana is a significant destination to Caribbean Airlines and as the designated carrier for over a decade, the Airline continues to honour and serve the people of Guyana, the Guyanese Diaspora and its valued stakeholders within the Caribbean region and beyond,” the airline stated.
