Thursday saw all six Girls teams in action for the third time. Barbados made it three wins out of three with a 5-0 victory over the Cayman Islands; Guyana also stayed undefeated with a 4-1 success over Trinidad and Tobago; and Jamaica recorded their first win- a 3-2 victory over Bermuda.
The Boys semi-finalists were also settled on Thursday. Guyana and the Cayman Islands met to decide the top spot in Pool B, and Guyana secured a crucial advantage, winning the Under-17 tie 11-9. Guyana extended their lead in the Under-13 clash, and although individual champion Julian Jervis pulled one back for Cayman, Daniel Islam secured the crucial victory to take Guyana to the next round.
In Pool A, Barbados clinched the top spot with a 5-0 drubbing of Bermuda, and a semi-final spot against the Cayman Islands, while the OECS defeated Trinidad and Tobago 3-2. (www.squashsite.co.uk)
