Home News Case against First Alley man accused of narcotics trafficking dismissed
Roylon Ferrier, 39, of 53 First Alley, Wismar, Linden, walked out of the Linden Magistrate’s Court a free man on Tuesday after a charge of possession of narcotics for the purpose of trafficking which was levelled against him was dismissed by Magistrate Clive Nurse.
Ferrier was accused of having 95 grams of cannabis sativa in his possession while at First Alley on April 3, 2017. Magistrate Nurse, in delivering the verdict, told the court that the prosecution did not prove beyond a reasonable doubt that the defendant was guilty of the offence.
Ferrier, after thanking the Magistrate, exited the courtroom with family members by his side.
