Cevons Waste Management Inc partners with GFF-K&S for Super 16 Cup
Cevons Waste Management Inc, located at Cevons Park, Lot 1 Mandela Avenue, Georgetown, the market leader in the waste industry in Guyana, has joined forces with the Guyana Football Federation (GFF) and the Kashif and Shanghai Organisation (K&S) for the Super 16 Cup, which kicked off on Friday evening at the Leonora Track and Field Facility, West Coast Demerara (WCD).
On hand to receive the company’s donation at its Mandela Avenue headquarters were GFF President Wayne Forde along with K&S Co-Director Aubrey “Shanghai” Major.
Handing over Cevons Waste Management’s contribution was Latoya Jacobs in the presence of her colleague, Jennifer Gordon.
Jacobs, in brief remarks
, informed that Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the company, Morse Archer was thrilled to be contributing to the tournament, which makes a timely return and shows the grit and determination of all involved to beat the ongoing pandemic.
“As a company, we recognise the challenges the world and, by extension, Guyana have faced due to COVID-19, but we also applaud you guys for fortitude and determination you have shown to pull off this tournament. We are, therefore, gratified to be a part of this year-end extravaganza and we wish you and the teams the very best,” Jacobs said.
Forde, in response, expressed pleasure on behalf of both the GFF and K&S to CEO Archer and his company for helping to make the competition a success.
“We know that teamwork makes the job easier for all, so we thank you, Mr Archer and team, for being a part of the corporate team which will bring smiles to the faces of many as the prizes and other tournament expenses are taken care of. We look forward to your continued support in the coming months and years,” the GFF President declared.
