…Opposition Leader says speaker should be held responsible

Chaos broke out in the National Assembly earlier today after police were called to remove Opposition Parliamentarian Juan Edghill after he refused to carry out an instruction by house speaker, Barton Scotland.
In responding to the ruckus, Leader of the Opposition, Bharrat Jagedo is calling for immediate actions to be taking, contending that the Speaker should be held responsible.
“This is not going to do down easily in this country,” Jagdeo told the media.
Meanwhile, Clerk of the National Assembly, Sherlock Isaacs informed the media that the speaker had instructed them to leave the Chamber. Additionally, the air-conditioning, lights and Wi-Fi in the parliamentary chambers were all switched off.
