Veteran bodybuilding stalwart Colin Chesney emphatically lived up to his “Mr Clean” reputation at the National Cultural Centre last weekend as he delivered a flawless display of muscle definition and stage composure to capture the 2025 Mr Guyana Senior Bodybuilding title.
Chesney was the standout performer at the Guyana Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation’s highly-anticipated Clash of the Titans, overpowering a stacked line-up of elite competitors to claim the night’s most prestigious honours.
He first stamped his dominance in the super heavyweight division, edging out a strong challenge from Dwayne Mars. As the competition unfolded, Chesney’s momentum only intensified.
Returning to the stage in the masters bodybuilding category, Chesney squared off against a formidable field that included former Central American and Caribbean Games medallist Rawle Greene.
Despite the depth of experience on display, Chesney’s superior conditioning and presentation earned him the masters title and propelled him into the final pose-off, where he sealed his championship triumph.

While Chesney commanded the spotlight, Christopher Anthony emerged as one of the event’s most versatile athletes. Anthony clinched a hard-fought victory in the welterweight division over Daniel Latchman and Martin Longe before going on to dominate both the Classic Physique (Short) category and the Overall Men’s Physique title.
Additional weight-class champions included Shemar Burrowes in lightweight, Kareem Bowman in bantamweight, and Orlando Dublin, who topped the heavyweight division.

The 2025 championships also marked the successful debut of the Fit Model category. Romelton Siland, who also captured the Men’s Fitness title, claimed the inaugural men’s Fit Model crown, while Savita Boodhoo etched her name into the history books as the first female champion in the category.
In the glamour divisions, Christina Ramsammy was crowned Miss Bikini, and Melitha Anderson secured the Bikini Wellness title, with both athletes receiving thunderous applause from a packed audience.
The Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation also showcased the sport’s growing grassroots reach through its Kids Fitness divisions, where Trinity Cole and Amariah Siland claimed top honours.
The Federation credited the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport, along with several private sponsors, for supporting what it described as a landmark event.
“Guyana bodybuilding is alive, thriving, and stronger than ever,” it said in a statement.
