A sales representative and a manager attached to China Trading Warehouse at Durban Park, Georgetown were on Monday robbed by four men, two of whom were armed with handguns.
Respectively aged 36 and 53, the China Trading employees were reportedly relieved of their mobile phones.
Based on reports received, the two men and two other employees were in the warehouse when the perpetrators turned up at the location in a silver-grey motorcar. They exited same and brandished their firearms at the two males, after which they tied the hands of their victims with shoe laces and relieved them of their mobile phones. After committing the act, the two men made good their escape in the said motorcar.
An alarm was raised, and other workers went to the victims’ assistance. An investigation has been launched into the robbery.
