“Chutney Fete” at Leonora Stadium on November 26

Chutney lovers on the Westside are urged to be prepared for one of the most exciting shows to be held there after quite some time. Several chutney shows were previously held and they were extremely entertaining and this time around will be no different.

Come Saturday, November 26, the Guyana National Stadium, Providence, East Bank Demerara, will come alive when Aamir Khan and Deejay Stress host ‘Chutney Fete’. The event will feature some of the best in the chutney business, including reigning International Chutney Monarch Kris Persad, also called “KI”, Nishard M, Master Saleem and Sally Sagram from Trinidad and Tobago.

The Guyanese cast includes Steven Ramphal and Pooran Seeraj of the Shakti Sting Orchestra, as well as Aamir Khan and the Dax New Generation Band. Tickets for the event are expected to be released shortly and will be available at regular locations in Georgetown, on the Westside, East Bank and East Coast Demerara.
Also, ticket will be available in Essequibo and Berbice.
