With just about two weeks left before Guyanese take to the streets to commemorate the nation’s Republic status, several concept parties are planned with the aim of setting the right vibes for the roads.
Over the past weekends, Team MMR has been leading the way with these parties at the District Ultra Lounge, Giftland Mall. From chutney to soca vibes, the party continues this evening and is named after the latest single by Trinidad Soca King, Machel Montano.
The party titled “Chutney Soca Kingdom” is expected to be epic with some versatile deejays on the console. This evening, Team MMR is taking it to another level and will for the first time have live performances at one of their events.
Yes, this evening, Jonathan “Lil Red” King will be performing his entry into the Carib Soca Monarch, titled “Water, Paint and Powder”. Deejay Golden Chyld will also rock the house.
As usual, Selector Andy and the Party Boss himself, WR Reaz, will be hitting some selections. Entry into the party costs $2000 and ladies will be admitted free until 21:00h.
