The Albion Community Centre Ground will once again come alive on Old Year’s Night when Chutney Soca Resolution is held to ring in the New Year. The event is promoted by Dreamz Unlimited Promotion and will feature live performances by several regional and local artistes.
Trinidad’s Chutney Soca artiste Saleem Beharry, also called “Master Saleem” is expected to perform before a large audience along with GI, Mystic, Steven Ramphal, Bunty Singh, Saint, Righteous and Kady Kish.
In addition, “Party Boss” WR Reaz along with Deejay Dauren, Selector Andy and others will add some flavour to the show with the best hits and mixes on the console. The Shalita Dancers and the Shakti Strings Orchestra will add some steam to the party.
One of the main attractions will be the fireworks display at the stroke of midnight. Tickets for the event cost $1500 in advance and $2000 for vehicle passes. These tickets will be available at Imran and Sons and Imran and Daughter General Store; Fresh Direct – Albion; Sankar and Sons – Williamsburg; Sensation Phone Store – Springlands; Turning Wheels – Rose Hall and Sham Beer Garden.
Gates open at 18:00h with showtime commencing at 20:00h.
