The elegant and aesthetic affair saw vocal performances by students as well as on strings and wind instruments.
However, the highlight of the event were the presentations of the Associate Board of the Royal Schools of Music’s (ABRSM) certificates by High Commissioner of India, His Excellency Dr KJ Srinivasa, and trophies by US Ambassador to Guyana, Her Excellency, Sarah-Ann Lynch, and Speaker of the National Assembly  Dr Barton Scotland, to the students who achieved distinctions.
Nevertheless, Adaeze Lumumba was honoured as “student of the decade”. She obtained a distinction from grade one to eight in piano without any repeats.
Meanwhile, several other awards were given out to top performers.
