A man who reportedly stole a quantity of clothing, as well as a table, found himself before the court on Wednesday.
Shawn Burch, 35, of Lot 9919 Princes Street, Georgetown, denied he committed the offence put to him by Magistrate Fabayo Azore, whom he appeared before at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts.
The charge against him alleged that on April 23, 2018, at Lot 122 Oronoque Street, Georgetown, he stole $10,000 worth of clothing, along with a table valued $11,000; property of Marcell Bandair.
Burch was placed on $10,000 and is expected to return to court on May 2, before Magistrate Annette Singh for trial to commence as the prosecution reported that the case file is complete.
