CNOOC donates $10M to CDC for flood relief efforts

The China National Offshore Oil Company (CNOOC) has donated $10M to the Civil Defence Commission (CDC) towards flood relief efforts countrywide.
In a social media post, the CDC noted that CNOOC President Liu Xiaoxiang stated that the company stands in solidarity with those affected by the floods, and would do what it can to help them return to normalcy.
In expressing thanks for the contribution, CDC Deputy Director General, Major Loring Benons, said the funds would go a far way in supporting affected residents.
