The cocaine and ganja found at Mahdia

During a Police operation at Airstrip Road Mahdia, Region Eight (Potaro-Siparuni) on Saturday, ranks discovered two kilograms of ganja and 147 grams of cocaine.
Police stated that at about 09:30h, a stop and search exercise was conducted on a pick-up, which resulted in the arrest of three persons. During the exercise, a quantity of cannabis along with a quantity of a hard whitish substance suspected to be cocaine were found.
At the Police station, the cannabis was weighed and amounted to 2 kilograms 741 grams, while the cocaine weighed 147 grams. Charges were instituted and the men are expected to make their court appearance shortly.
More than a week ago at Wismar, Linden, a 55-year-old male was taken into custody after he was found with 5 grams of cocaine. The discovery was made during a Police operation for drugs, arms and ammunition at Silvertown, Wismar, Linden.
Police had stated that tanks went to “Tika Drug Block” where the 55-year-old male was seen and a search was conducted on his person. One crazy glue container was found in his pants pocket containing 70 pieces of a whitish rock-like substance which later proved to be cocaine.
He was told of the allegation, cautioned and told Police: “Boss is lil crack I does hussle fuh a man but I can’t call he name”. He was subsequently charged and remanded to prison.
