Cold Fusion defeat Canal Number 2

Zeelugt’s Cold Fusion made light work of Canal Number 2 in their feature 35-over friendly encounter, played last Saturday at the latter’s ground (aback of Kawall Primary School).
Set a modest 111 for victory, after limiting the host to 110 all out in 34.2 overs, Cold Fusion romped to victory in 26.3 overs, losing four wickets in the process.

The main scorers for the eventual winners were Trevayne Mohabir (28), skipper Mark Jeffers unbeaten on 19 and Mark Mohabir 19 not out. For Canal Number 2, national youth player Kheshram Seyhodan grabbed three for 26.
Earlier, Canal Number 2 were indebted to a fine even half century from Satrohan Ganesh who received solid support from Tajnauth Jadunauth (22).Vickram Mangra and Kenny Holder claimed 3-11 and 3-12 respectively.
Canal Number 2 comprised four Under-19 players and seven between the ages of 15 and 17 while Cold Fusion had three eight year-olds, three 15-16 years and five under-14s.
