A resident of Third Alley, Wismar, was sentenced to 120 hours of community service after he was found guilty of having narcotics in his possession. Clayton Lewis, 18, of 33 Third Alley, appeared before Magistrate Clive Nurse at the Linden Magistrate’s Court to answer to the charge.
Facts of the case presented to the court indicated that the man was caught with 2 grammes of cannabis sativa in his possession on Saturday, December 3, at Third Alley Public Road.
The community service sentence will commence on Thursday, December 8. Failure to attend will result in an alternative sentence of three months’ imprisonment.
