However, several preliminary competitions are already underway and with a week to pageant night, the 104 delegates from across the world will be competing in the multimedia competition.
This year, the Miss World Committee has integrated with mobile app Mobstar to select the winner of the talent competition and the multimedia portion of the competition.
The winner of the talent competition will be chosen through Mobstar and will be fast-tracked automatically to the Top 20 semi-finalists of Miss World 2016 on December 18.
