Construction worker Darren Simpson of Sophia, Georgetown on Monday morning found himself before City Magistrate Judy Latchman, charged with common assault committed on Morris Hinds at Lot 8 Plum Park, South Sophia on April 11, 2018.
Police Prosecutor Arvin Moore did not object to the 26-year-old defendant being placed on bail, and same was set at $20,000.
This case is scheduled for recall on April 30.
