Dear Editor,
It is something of a puzzle that the Opposition is in support of and a strong advocate for the acting CJ to be confirmed in the position, yet every ruling she makes on their matters before her is referred to the Appellate Court, as in their reasoning she has misconstrued the law; she has misconceived the law: she has erred in law; she has misapplied the law; misdirected herself among other ‘mis’. So, if the Honourable Madame CJ is mis-sing the law each time, how come she is such a strong advocate and contender for the position by the same side which does not find favour with her rulings?
Something of a conundrum or is it a tangled web?
Sincerely,
Shamshun Mohamed
