Cop robbed at gunpoint while liming with friends

Based on reports received, the victim and a few friends were lying in the area when he was confronted by a masked man armed with a handgun.
The gunman reportedly snatched two gold chains from around the victim’s neck, weighing a combined 68 pennyweights and valued at approximately $600,000.
Following the robbery, the suspect fled the scene, during which several loud explosions, suspected to be gunshots, were heard, causing the victim and his friends to disperse.
