Please correct this hazardous situation

Dear Editor,
I am a resident of Diamond Housing Scheme, East Bank Demerara, and, over a period of time, what I observed with our main access road is that when it rains, many parts of the road become waterlogged. This causes a number of things: importantly, the road is being damaged by erosion; pedestrians have difficulty walking; and, if unfortunate, can get wet with water splashed by vehicles.
I know our senior Minister of Public Works is a no-nonsense and hardworking individual, and I appeal to him to use his good office to correct this hazardous situation.

Thank you.
Sincerely,
Parmanand Ram
