The “Crown” Jewel of tournaments for the second half of the LGC golf season is being sponsored by Crown Eco, a division of Crown Mining located on North Road, Georgetown.

This tournament commences on Saturday (tomorrow) at 12:30pm, and prizes for different categories of players, along with incentives for longest drive and nearest to the pin, are being provided by the company.
At launching of this tournament, LGC President Aleem Hussain said, “This is going to be one of the largest turnouts, come this Saturday. The course is in great condition, and I think the scores are going to be very competitive this week. We are happy that Crown is on board, as every time they are onboard we have a massive turnout. The flights being competed for are 0-9, 9-18 and 10-28. We at the LGC just want to (thank) Crown Eco, a division of Crown Mining, for coming on board.”
Avashti Persaud, Junior Director of Crown Mining Supplies, responded that Crown Eco is one of the new lines of the company, and wanted to get involved in the ‘green economy’. Persaud said she is excited about the upcoming tournament, and urged all supporters to go to the LGC on Saturday.
