“Dance Hall meet Chutney Fusion” for Berbice on July 26 & 27

On Friday, July 26 and Saturday, July 27, Berbicians are once again in for a treat as one of the biggest shows is heading their way.
The show titled “Dance Hall meet Chutney Fusion” is set for the Berbice Fun Park, Number Six Village and the Albion Community Centre Ground respectively.
The event is being promoted by Atiya’s Entertainment alongside Apache Waria, and includes some of the best in the local and regional music industry.
The cast for the show includes Guyana’s own international dancer Dheeraj Gayaram; Trinidad’s Chutney sensation, De Hunter; Kavita Ramkissoon; Soca Elvis; Awarak; Little Kris; former Guyanese Chutney Monarch Bunty Singh; K-Wida; Last King and Apache Waria.
There will also be other attractions such as dance routines from Brian, Berbice Delight Dance Troupe and others. The Heat Band from Suriname as well as the Bombastic Band will also be at the event. Apart from the live performances, there will be a tassa competition where the winners will walk away with cash prizes.
The emcee for this grand affair will be radio personality Surida Nagreadi.
Music will be provided by Crown Vibes. Tickets cost $1500 in advance and $2000 at the gate. Kids’ tickets cost $800 and these will only be available at the gate on the two nights.
Tickets will be available at Berbice Fun Park; Andrew Electronica, Albion; Office Express, Portuguese Quarters; Little Rock Suites, New Amsterdam; Deckers, Skeldon and Ramnarine Shop, Number 52 Village. The event is made possible through a number of businesses including Banks DIH, Sterling Products, Sunita Travel Agency, Office Express, Deckers, and Little Rock Suites.
