A labourer of Pitman Street in Dartmouth on the Essequibo Coast was on Friday placed on $300,000 bail after appearing before Suddie Magistrate Esther Sam to answer a charge of raping a woman.
Rape accused Danford Thomas
Danford Thomas, called “Dennis”, 29, was not required to plead to the indictable charge, which
accused him of committing the offence on November 28, 2023 at Dartmouth.
The charge was laid under Section 3 (3) of the Sexual Offences Act, Chapter 8:03, and the case has been adjourned to February 2. (G1)
