DCB Independence T10: Anil Beharry’s Real Estate, Construction and General Business Services joins sponsors

Anil Beharry’s Real Estate, Construction and General Business Services is the latest corporate entity to align itself with the Demerara Cricket Board (DCB) for the upcoming Independence T10 Cup.
The fund-raising event is slated for May 25 at the LBI Ground, East Coast Demerara.
CEO of Anil Beharry’s Real Estate, Construction and General Business Services, Anil Beharry, has said his establishment is pleased to support the DCB in its endeavour to raise funds to push the cricket development agenda in the county.
Beharry, an ardent cricket fan, player and administrator, has emphasised the need for corporate Guyana to support the growth of the sport, hence his involvement.
Beharry wished the DCB well in pulling off a successful tournament, and urged cricket fans to support the exciting showpiece.

Secretary of the DCB, Davteerth Anandjit, accepted the sponsorship from Beharry and lauded him for embracing the initiative.
Anandjit added that plans are moving full steam for the grand Independence T10 Cup, with teams and players to be announced in the coming days.
Eight first division teams from the county would compete for top honours, with the format being a one-game knockout. Total cash prize of G$500,000 and trophies will be up grabs at the one-day event.
While the teams would be represented by players within the respective associations, each team is allowed two guest players from other counties.
The champion team is guaranteed G$250,000 cash plus trophy; the runners-up G$150,000 and trophy, while the losing semi-finalists would be receiving G$50,000 each.
On the individual side, each Man-of-the-Match in the semi-finals and final will receive a trophy.
Action will bowl off at 10:00h and conclude under floodlights.
