Defending Champions St Angela’s still unbeaten

On day two of the Smalta Girls’ Peewee tournament defending champions St Angela’s went unopposed as they had a walkover victory against School of the Nations who failed to take to the field.

St Angela’s had no opposition as the tournament continued on Saturday

However North Georgetown Primary showed no scruples as they dismantled the Redeemer Primary outfit 3-0 via a Jada Maison double and a solitary strike from Ameza English. Maison’s goals came in the 10th and 20th minutes while English netted in the 11th to seal the deal for North Georgetown.
As the day progressed the scoreline increased with St Pius tucking away eight goals without reply against Tucville.
Star player Kerry Boyce indulged at her whim and fancy netting a helmet-trick and was supported by Breann Solome who grabbed a hat-trick with Akesha Sibdhanie scoring a single goal. Boyce’s strikes came in the first, fifth, 13th and 28th minutes while Solome got in on the action in the ninth, 24th and 30th minutes. Sibdhanie’s lone strike came in the 26th minute.
Kitty based F.E Pollard just needed goals from Shania Lord and Ciara Fraser to record a comfortable 2-0 win against South Ruimveldt. The duo scored in the 26th and 30th minutes to help their side to victory.
Akila Smith needed no help as she struck four times to cement a 4-0 win for West Ruimveldt over Stella Marris. Smith’s goals were scored in the 18th, 20th, 25th and 29th minutes respectively.
