Defending champs Milerock sneak into quarter-finals

The round-robin round of the 2nd annual Petra Organised Limacol Football Tournament has concluded with defending champions Milerock being the last team to qualify for the quarter-finals.
Playing at the McKenzie Sports Club Ground, Linden on Sunday evening, Milerock FC and arch rivals Federal Winners Connection produced a goalless draw to ensure they (Milerock) pip Grove Hi Tech to the second qualifying spot in Group A.
The scruffy exchange was marred by an abusive of physicality as it hardly brought the sizeable crowd in attendance to their feet since they failed to be a procession of offensive plays.
