Dindyal remained the key for Select U-15 as he looked to bat deep into the innings to chase 208 for victory. The wicket of Dindyal halted the Select U-15 scoring rate when he fell for 67 from 104 balls batting for 145 minutes hitting seven fours.
It was a match that came down to the wire when Thaddeus Lovell smashed a six down the ground but his spirited effort left the Select U-15 team fell short by two runs in the intensifying encounter at Everest. Select U-15 ended on 205-6 when their 50 overs expired; bowling for Demerara, Andre Seepersaud had 2-31 while Rudranauth Kisson who bowled the final overs with bravery finished with 1-44 with his off-spinners.
