The place to be this evening is the original Palm Court for one of the most provocative performances by the queen of soca, Destra.
This is one of a series of parties that the Main Street, Georgetown night club will host over the next week leading up to Old Years Night. One of the biggest shows anticipated from the entertainment hot spot will featuring Beenie Man, the King of Dance Hall.
Destra, who is known for her energetic and saucy performances, will without a doubt set the venue on fire. All preparations are already in place for a wonderful evening that is also expected to be epic. She will be backed by popular deejays that will set the tone leading up to the appearance of the soca queen.
Patrons can expect the best music mixes and party the night away with drink specials. “Destra Closer to You” is one party that soca junkies would not want to miss, as the soca queen is ready to perform before her fans. As usual, the Trinidadian will perform some of her best hits.
Tickets for the event were presold at $2000 and $3000 on the night of the show. There will be strict security and no guns are allowed.
