Diamond Tennis Camp 2016

For a fifth time the Guyana Bank for Trade and Industry (GBTI) has seen the need for youth development, thus it has decided to utilise its resources in collaboration with the Guyana Tennis Association (GLTA). Together the two entities will be hosting the GBTI/GLTA fifth annual summer tennis camp.
The camp will be in full flow from today at the GBTI Diamond Tennis Courts. Residents within and beyond the vicinity of Diamond Housing Scheme, who are eager to learn tennis and might be looking for a mode of relaxation during their summer vacation are all invited to participate in the camp free of cost.
The camp will run for three consecutive weekends, commencing on August 20-21, August 27-28, and concluding on September 3-4.

Children, ages 14 and under, will be accommodated from 3:00pm – 4:30pm, and adults from 4:30pm- 6:00pm.
Persons are required to walk with a cap, snacks, water bottle and a tennis racket, if they have one. Rackets will also be provided.
This initiative that is being upheld by the GBTI is simply an expression of their support for the development of youths and adults in the Diamond Community through the sport of tennis. On completion of the camp, persons would not only be able to play tennis, but will also improve the development of their physical, technical, mental and social well being.
